Post-doc researchers (2024~)

Integrated Systems Biology Laboratory, Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University is seeking highly motivated post-doc researchers with a background in machine learning, image processing, and/or signal processing. You will participate in the national project (shown below) with our members from various backgrounds including mathematical engineering, machine learning/artificial intelligence, computational neuroscience, and robotics. Our laboratory is also collaborating with International Research Institute for Neurointelligence, the University of Tokyo (IRCN), Advanced Telecommunication Research Institute International (ATR), RIKEN Center for Brain Science (RIKEN CBS), and other international laboratories.

[Fields of specialty]
Applications of artificial intelligence (machine learning, image processing, signal processing, etc.) technologies to neuroscience data
(join the Brain/MINDS project funded by Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development)

[Qualifications]
Hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in relevant field, together with a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Japanese.

The position is open after November 1st, 2024 (negotiable)

The contract is annually renewable up to March 31st, 2030 based on the evaluation.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Social insurance will be applied.
Days off include weekends, public holidays, Year-end and New Year holidays, Foundation Day, and summer vacation.
These and other provisions are in accordance with the regulations in Kyoto University.
