"Systems Neurobiology Spring School" is going to be held from 5th to 7th March 2005, in Japan. The host is Nara Institute of Science and Technology, a national institute of Japan. Main aim of the school is to instruct graduate students and young researchers through interdisciplinary discussion on computational neurobiology, molecular biology and scientific instrumentation.

About the SNSS

This school intends to foster graduate students and young researchers who enter the field of systems neurobiology. There are two approaches to the systematic understanding of brain functions; those based on basic biological studies at the molecule, cell and network levels, and on information scientific studies using model simulations. Through lectures by top-level international faculty, this school presents interdisciplinary educations on computational neurobiology, molecular biology and scientific instrumentation.
